One Child, One World

Kids are wonderful little people. They should not know that there are mean people in the world. They shouldn’t have to deal with adult situations and adult problems when they are very little. Yet every day, children everywhere are worried about having food to eat, and other very big problems. There are programs and help for many children in this world. The goal of these organizations is to help children conquer the problems so that they can enjoy being children. That is the goal of one child. They strive to help children who have been abused, neglected, and left behind.

Helping Children Grow

In places like Haiti, children are often forgotten. Their parents die or some other tragedy befalls them. They suffer abuse and hunger. The orphans are often looked down on by others and it becomes a very hard life for them, even though they have done nothing to deserve it. Instead of allowing them to suffer, they deserve all the help that they can get. They shouldn’t be punished because of their circumstances when they were simply born.

There are several Christian based charities that aim to provide the support that orphans in Haiti need. It is done through providing foster homes to these children where they can be loved, fed, and supported as they grow. Where they can experience love from a family without the risks that come with an orphanage. It is great and children are suffering less, but not all children are able to be helped. Sometimes they are overlooked.

Educating Haiti

There are also many options for others to get involved. Programs that provide learning environments to children who need it the most. The goal is to educate children so that they can make a better future for themselves while protecting them as children.

Most people do not consider that children are being sold or trafficked every day. When this happens to a child, that child may be subjected to abuses that no one wants to consider. Educating the people of Haiti, both big and small, is one way to help. The rest is by keeping vulnerable children off the streets and safe from predators.

You Can Help

If you feel that children are the future and you hurt knowing that children are suffering-then you should take a stand. If not for the kids in Haiti, then for kids in other areas of the world. There are abused, neglected, and orphaned children all around you, no matter where you are in the world. By taking a stand, donating, and becoming involved, you are saving at least a single child from a horrible fate. Why not do what you can? That child will spend their life being thankful to you.
